New Leica

Yet another song is permanently stuck in my head. I still run up and down the studio aisles singing the song, which much to my fellow friends' dismay I have mostly memorized.

Anyways, this is the segment (sequence, that's the proper term) that I did for my part in storyboard. The song is "When The Dairy Farm Caught Fire" by Marc Gunn. I have to say I do love his Celtic Songs XD

3D

It's been too long since I post anything up. So there, a sewing machine that robbed half of my brain cells. And took too many polygons. There must have been hundreds.

Painting

So I happily bulldozed my way through this painting on the last day of school hoping I could actually make it good in a few hours, but by the time I was finishing it, it was already 5am. And it's not really what I had imagined to be in my head.

Yeah, I ran out of fuel. Again.

By the way, I wanted to update some caricatures but sadly my scanner won't fit animation paper.

L'Update

Woot finally compiled into a leica! The songs don't really flow well, but eh, it's scratch track anyways. After a whole night of Premier frenzy, those two songs are now permanently stuck in my head. Boo.

And this is my best life drawing of the semester. Sad, I know TT_TT

Winter Fair

... which was like, what, last month? Anyways I had a great time there, frolicking and wasting money on goat cheese. Nibbling too many pretzels and crackers and making store owners angry because I can't make up my mind on what to buy. Then I eat some more of their pretzels. Ahaha, I'm heck of a peckish annoying student.

Of course, being pretty darn sucky at animal drawings, I just sat there rotting all day doodling and thinking what should I do with the goat cheeses and chutney I bought:

Okay, I lied. These are like studies. Takes like 15 minutes ish each.

And the occasional random colors for the fuzzy llamas. I am now fully aware that colored pieces attract people to come look and beam all over you even though the structure of the freaking creature is falling apart like avalanches.

Until next time, sweet dreams.

Update!

Today is all about layout. I'm exhausted today so I'm going to make this brief. Yay.

So, I workbooked a sequence of the storyboard. I'm pretty proud of it... ish? Probably when I come back 2 years later I'm going to cringe in disgust. But anyways, I put the raw background/layout on the left and the one with characters and shadows on the right. The last one had really simple background so I didn't bother.

Yeah it looks like a comic strip from afar. lololol.

Moving on, I also did some color keys. They uh, look better in real life I guess. I did these with pencil crayon or color pencils or whatever you call em.

Anyways, that's it for now. Until next time, good night. *snores*

Ridiculously ridiculous

... Yeah, I'm talking about my storyboard. It's 13 pages long and it has horror, romance, and humor all in one package! How convenient is that? It's like unhealthy microwavable foods.

Drawing this makes me discover my happily-now-exposed morbid side.

The worst part of this is how much time I actually spent shading the darn thing and always ended up with black fingers when I handle them. It's like life drawing.

Guess which part I had the most fun with >:P

Yeah, that part.
